Barbara
Missing teeth, tooth decay, a crooked smile, and a partial upper denture with metal clasps were all part of pre-treatment presentation of our wonderful patient. After years of less than ideal experiences that led to her avoiding the dentist, Barbara finally regained confidence in dental care once she spent time in our office. With a focus on an individualized approach to care, we set out to deliver the rounded teeth and subtle asymmetries to the smile our patient desired. We began with the end in mind, providing temporary restorations on the front 6 teeth to confirm the patient's desired tooth length and shape. From there, meticulous planning and multi-disciplinary coordination allowed dental implants to be ideally placed to fill missing tooth spaces. After implant treatment was completed by our patient's long-time periodontist, ceramic crowns on the dental implants and the adjacent natural teeth were used to give our previously dental phobic patient the smile she wishes she had years ago.

Our patient literally outgrew the bonded bridges replacing his 2 missing lower teeth initially placed when we was a teenager. He elected a conservative approach to treatment - tooth whitening with new lower bonded bridges to blend with his natural teeth. The new bridges are a seamless addition to his smile, and our wonderful patient can’t wait to upgrade the aging bridges replacing his missing upper teeth.

NOTE: Case documented, planned and executed at Penn Dental Medicine with Markus Blatz, PhD, DMD. This young woman was interested in upgrading her lower partial denture to a fixed (nonremovable) solution to replace her missing lower two front teeth. She was tired of taking her front teeth out at night. While replacement of the lower teeth with a dental implant solution was an option, it wasn't one our patient was able to consider. Instead a ceramic bonded bridge was designed to provide an undetectable natural transition to the patient's other lower teeth.

Our wonderful patient was interested in conservative treatment to improve her smile. Treatment was simple - no porcelain veneers required. Invisalign clear aligners were used to straighten the teeth, and deep bleaching in the office lightened tooth color significations.
Frank
Frank came to our office for his esthetic care only. While he loves his routine dentist, he decided to visit our office to assure his best cosmetic result. After his tooth decay was addressed by his routine dentist, we were able to bond tooth-colored composite filling on the lower teeth, restoring their appearance and function. Ceramic materials were used to replace the existing crowns on the 2 upper front teeth, with porcelain veneers utilized on the lateral incisors.

After a front tooth broke, our patient decided to enhance his smile with a more limited approach to improve the appearance of his upper four front teeth. A combination of 2 porcelain veneers, 1 ceramic crown and 1 dental implant crown provided him with the smile enhancement he was looking for.

A fall and a broken front tooth caused our wonderful long-time patient to consider refreshing her smile. Initially completed over 20 years ago by Dr. Doray, our patient’s smile was already well-designed - our goal was to subtly enhance her smile with treatment on the upper 6 teeth. Our patient is thrilled by the results - so much so that she is almost ready to improve the appearance of the lower teeth.
Jaime
A showcase of the power of comprehensive dental rehabilitation. When Jaime first came to the office, she had a list of concerns to address. She decided to stage her treatment over time, from porcelain veneers on upper teeth completed by Prosthodontist Nicole Deakins. Dr. Conover addressed the lower teeth with a fixed bridge and replacement of some aging crowns to provide more fullness to her smile. Jaime was thrilled with her transformation.

Our patient presented to improve the appearance of her front teeth. A condition called external resorption caused by a childhood accident led to the loss of her front right tooth. As seen in the before photos, the gum lines have receded around her existing veneer and there is a lack of symmetry and color harmony between the 2 front teeth. When the dental implant on her front right tooth was ready for a new crown, we provided the patient the esthetic enhancement she desired with 4 ceramic crowns. The result shows a near seamless blending color and shape between the new ceramic restorations and her existing natural teeth. Now a new mom, she couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Case completed by Dr. Conover.

Our long-time patient had noticed her teeth slowly getting more crowded over the years. While she had orthodontics as a teenager, she experienced the quite common phenomenon of orthodontic relapse. She became concerned that the crowding would continue through her 70’s and into her later years and was concerned about how difficult it would be to maintain her oral hygiene. After discussion of options, she chose a series of clear aligners (Invisalign) to straighten her teeth and make them less prone to periodontal disease and tooth decay. We were able to restore an ideal arch form, uprighting lower premolars and leveling the lower incisors. Total treatment time was approximately 12 months and her only regret is that she didn’t decide to do it sooner! Case completed by Dr. Conover.

This wonderful patient came to us dissatisfied with the recently placed stained and mismatched resin bonding on his upper front teeth. After discussing options, he elected a limited treatment of 4 porcelain veneers to close the spaces between his teeth and improve his overall appearance. After tooth whitening, we conservatively shaped the teeth and provided a “trial smile” with temporary veneers. Tooth-colored bonding was added to the adjacent canine teeth to improve bite function as well. He was thrilled with the result and his experience at our office. Case by Dr. Conover.
Jenna
Jenna decided to make a subtle and natural enhancement to her lower front teeth. Treatment was conservative: after in-office deep bleaching to brighten and lighten the surrounding lower teeth, we closed spaces with a pair of porcelain veneers. We confirmed this was the result she was looking to achieve with temporary restorations. After the patient gave the go ahead, the temporaries were then converted to porcelain, delivering just the natural look our wonderful patient asked for. Case by Dr. Conover.
