Dr. Pamela G Doray

Dr. Doray has maintained a private practice devoted to comprehensive restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry in Philadelphia, PA since 1984. Her practice is known for excellent personalized patient service, highest quality of treatment, and state-of-the-art technology. Dr. Doray was one of the first dentists in the Philadelphia region to place bonded porcelain restorations. Her practice was also one of the first to implement networked digital radiography, cosmetic imaging capabilities and laser whitening procedures.

Dr. Doray has been invited to speak to dentists nationally and internationally on cosmetic dentistry, dental materials and techniques, and occlusion. She has presented original research on color of cosmetic restorative dental materials at national and international conferences, and has many publications in this area of cosmetic dentistry. She is considered an expert in the area of fabrication of cosmetic temporary restorations to enhance the interim appearance of patients during cosmetic treatment. Dr. Doray has given lectures, been featured in videos, and published on this topic.

Dr. Doray is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she has been on the faculty since 1984. At the University of Pennsylvania she has directed the pre-clinical prosthodontic and occlusion laboratory program, taught various aspects of clinical dentistry, and lectured on a wide variety of topics including esthetics and occlusion. Since 1994, she has also been on the faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials. In Houston she has collaborated on numerous research projects principally involving the color stability of esthetic restorative materials, and has presented lectures, seminars and continuing education courses to Houston area dentists.

For ten years, Dr. Doray served as a consultant dentist for ESPE Dental-Medizin, Germany, where she was involved in development and evaluation of various dental cosmetic and restorative materials.

Dr. Doray received her DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated first in her class. Prior to dental school, she graduated summa cum laude from Bucknell University, majoring in Mathematics. She also received her MSEd degree in Measurement, Evaluation and Techniques of Experimental Research from the University of Pennsylvania.
