Your First Visit
Our first encounter is a very important one! During this visit we will learn about your personal dental concerns and you will have the opportunity to learn more about our practice philosophy.

Your comprehensive evaluation will include a periodontal and restorative examination, oral cancer screening, and if you wish, a dental cosmetic evaluation. X-rays are used to identify conditions which may not be visible directly but which may be significant to your oral health status. We take your x-rays with the latest x-ray technology, allowing us to obtain significantly improved diagnostic information while reducing your radiation exposure by 90%.

Finally, we will develop a plan for your future dental care tailored to your personal dental health requirements. If necessary, we may recommend a second visit to complete your evaluation or to discuss extensive treatment in depth.

Dental insurance
Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but rarely all, of the cost of dental care. Most plans include a deductible, co-insurance, and other expenses, which must be paid by the patient. We will work with you to assure that you receive the maximum benefits to which you are entitled.

Routine appointments
We take great care to schedule appropriately and make every effort to see all patients on time. Your scheduled appointment is reserved exclusively for you and is tailored for your specific dental needs.

Please arrive on time to ensure that we will have adequate time to provide your treatment, answer your questions, and maintain our commitment to seeing other patients at their scheduled time.

If you must reschedule, please call us at least 48 hours prior to appointment when possible.

Emergency Care
Regular dental care minimizes emergencies, but they still do occur. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call the office immediately so that we may address the problem. If the office is closed, please follow the instructions on the telephone message to reach the doctor. Have your pharmacy number ready, too. Your prompt attention to emergencies is essential!
