After Dental Crowns

This lovely young woman had a long history of dental concerns, including the poor esthetics of her smile.  The upper front teeth were flaring out into her lip.  They were also worn, discolored and too short. After a full smile makeover by Dr. Doray, our patient was ecstatic about her new look.  Her new porcelain crowns have a more pleasing shape, color and length.  The flaring has been corrected for proper lip support so that her smile is relaxed, natural, confident and gorgeous.

This woman was unhappy with her smile primarily due to the uneven tooth length, tooth asymmetry and color mismatch.  A comprehensive examination revealed other periodontal and restorative problems that required attention.

After comprehensive treatment that included porcelain crowns and veneers, the patient was thrilled with this beautiful final result.  Her healthy new smile shows excellent tooth proportion, form and color.

This executive was very self-conscious about his smile.  He was embarrassed by his dark, crooked teeth and by the missing lower right tooth. "You've changed my life!"  That's what this patient told Dr. Doray after she completed the full restoration of his teeth and smile.  While a combination of orthodontics, dental implants and multiple porcelain crowns was needed, the esthetic confident smile shows that it was worth it.

The jagged edges, uneven wear, tipped teeth and large dark posterior restorations make this man's smile look much older than he is. Dr. Doray completed a full smile makeover to give our patient the smile of his dreams.  Using a combination of porcelain veneers and crowns, she corrected tooth shape, length, proportion and position to achieve a beautiful cosmetic result.

Porcelain Dental Crowns

Porcelain crowns are excellent restorations for restoring strength, function and esthetics to certain teeth. Dr. Doray may recommend crowns to restore teeth that are significantly weakened by large old fillings and decay, or to strengthen teeth that are cracked or broken. Crowns are also used in conjunction with dental implants to replace missing teeth.

Dr. Doray uses several state-of-the-art ceramic materials to create beautiful, natural looking crowns. These materials have a surface finish and luster that rivals natural tooth structure. And Dr. Doray’s porcelain crowns do not have that unsightly black or blue line you may have seen under the gum tissue on other crowns. No one will know you have crowns - just that you have a beautiful smile.
