The worn edges, old fillings and tooth discoloration make this patient look much older.  Her teeth don't follow the smile line of her lips.  This is an example of a "reverse smile line."

Dr. Doray used resin bonding to improve the shape, length and color of the anterior teeth giving the patient a more attractive youthful smile.

  Dental Bonding

Bonding can often be used to repair chips and cracks and to fill in unattractive gaps between teeth. Essentially, bonding hides any natural flaws or damaged areas through the placement of a thin plastic coating on the front surface of the teeth.

Bonding by Dr. Doray is typically painless and can yield dramatic results in a single office visit. After treating the tooth surface, Dr. Doray applies a soft plastic tooth-colored material that is then sculpted to the desired shape. Often multiple layers are utilized to achieve a color stratification that matches the adjacent natural teeth. The plastic is hardened with a high-intensity light, and then the new tooth surface is smoothed and polished.

With bonding, Dr. Doray can mask spots or stains, close gaps and even alter crooked or malformed teeth. Dr. Doray can utilize bonding to change the shape or color of a single tooth, or in certain cases to remake your entire smile.
